Suggested prerequisites for this program include: Keyboarding, Windows
2000, and, Applied Math for IT Majors. Students will be required to
purchase or supply their own earphones for computer lessons. They will also
be required to purchase a wiring kit.
Upon successful completion of the above CISCO Networking classes, the
student is eligible to sit for the independent CISCO Certified Network
Associate (CCNA) Exam given at a local Thomson Prometric Center. Because students have
completed their training at a CISCO Regional Training Site, they will be
able to take the exam at a reduced rate.
Although certification is not a requirement for employment in the
networking area, the CISCO Certified Networking Associate (CCNA)
designation will certainly give you a jump start in the job market.

Professional (CCNP) is Cisco’s next level of certification. It indicates an
advanced knowledge of networks including the abilities to install,
configure, and operate LAN,WAN, and dial access services.

with Adobe to bring this course into their learning structure. Curriculum
is viewed and tests are taken online.
Students complete web site projects using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator,
Adobe Premier, Adobe Golive, and Adobe LiveMotion
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to sit
for the The World Organization of Webmasters (WOW) certification for

This certificate
assumes some prior computer knowledge and programming experience. Helpful
prerequisites include: IT100 Foundations of Information Technology, IT105
Applied Logic, and IT132 Applied Math for IT Majors.
